The Concept Masterplan for the Athens Riviera seeks to enhance public spaces along the coastal zone and foster recreational activities. The site is divided into three primary zones: a Kids’ Zone, a Sports and Recreation Zone, and a Cultural and Educational Zone.

The Kids’ Zone is designed with age-appropriate equipment, including a skate park, dog park, and leisure areas, creating a vibrant environment for families. Walking and running paths encourage outdoor activity.

The Sports and Recreation Zone includes facilities for various sports, with courts for tennis, basketball, football, and volleyball. Convenient parking areas serve both zones, ensuring accessibility. The Cultural and Educational Zone will host festivals, small event venues, and an environmental center dedicated to sea turtle rescue, along with dining and leisure facilities.

The masterplan is integrated into the city’s transportation network, connecting to Athens’ public transit system and offering links to the main walkway, pathway, and bicycle lane along the Athens Riviera.
